NANNM Visit The Nurse That Lost Her Two Legs At Owo Church Terrorist Attack, Sympathised With Other Victims Of The Ugly Incident


The National Leadership of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, paid a visit to Owo, Ondo state to sympathize with the Nurse who lost her two legs, when men of the underworld attacked the Anglican church at Owo on 5th June 2022.

The entourage was led by the friendly and hardworking National President, Comrd. Nr. Micheal Nnachi with other National Administrative Council members.

Mr President condemned the dastardly act of those criminal elements. He wondered why fellow human beings would wake up and decide to take the lives of others and desecrate the worship centre. Life is very precious and should not be taken cruelly.
The President called on the Government to strengthen security across all parts of the country because the protection of lives and properties is the sole responsibility of every Government.

The passionate Leader urged Nurses and Midwives within Owo, to volunteer and assist in the care of victims of the ugly incident.
Security personnel should ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are brought to justice.

He also sympathized with the family, friends and relatives of those who lost their lives and pray Almighty God to accept their souls.

Finally, he wished the Nurse and others receiving treatment, a quick recovery.
Cheque and relief materials were also donated to the Nurse.
